Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:

EVA 1 Gravels experiment at Cow Dung Road Cattle Grid

EVA Data/Interpretations:

During our first EVA in SIM we collected gravel (100 peebles / rocks) for identification. This will be used to build an educational resource for the school curriculum in NZ to allow the students to make a comparison between NZ and Utah.

The rocks are mostly sedimentary, we identified fossilised wood, marine shell fossil.

MSP Ali Harley is sending two sample photos to Jon Clarke to confirm ID on limestone and a 'scratched' rock.

Engineering/Hab Maintenance:

none

There is one wire missing at the backpack no 2 but we found it's "remains" in a box. We will wire it together (it's the head that goes into the backpack for charging, the wire went lose.)

Also only 3 headphones are working with the radios which makes very difficult communicating in sim if we are more than 3 people
